After reading this scripture (2 Corinthians 5:14), I asked myself, “How does the love of Christ compel me?… How am I living compelled?”
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”
1 Corinthians 10:31
So here is the story of that journey, a life devoted to Christ and living compelled by His love in all that we do. The Good Lord knows that I am far from being anyone “qualified” nor the most equipped to write about living a life that pleases Him. He alone knows the thoughts, motives, desires, and wishes of my sinful heart. But God is good and gracious, and He has chosen to work through earthen vessels. Does He need me to write of His goodness? Quite frankly…. no… even the rocks can easily replace me, these words, photos, devotionals, for even they can and do cry out his praises (Luke 19:40).
If you’re coming here looking for answers, I have to tell you this: I don’t have them. All I have is the testimony of a broken, young woman that once was lost but–now by the grace and undeserved mercy of God–is found. May He alone be glorified here. May He alone receive praise. Whether through anything “good” that I may have done or (and mostly) through my failures, may he continue to humble and teach me, that this blog may be a pedestal for Him so that you may better see Him and know Him.

Happy New Year. Sorry I missed seeing you over the holidays.
I stumbled across your blogs while I was searching for verses about being compelled by the Spirit to do something that in myself I felt uncomfortable about doing. I was so inspired and filled by reading your blogs. You are truly blessed and annointed. Thank you for believing and following God’s will. Please pray for our 23 yr. old son, Lee, that he will be content in the situations of his life and always know the love of God. I thank Jesus for you today.
Dear Debbie, thank you so much for taking the time to write a comment this morning! I’m so glad that you have felt encouraged through this blog. Truly, I’m overwhelmed with thanks to God because He is the One that touches our lives and that He has even chosen us as his ambassadors! (2 Corinthians 5:21). I will be praying for Lee, and if there is any other way that I can help or pray, please comment or send me an email at hollinger.sarah@yahoo.com .

It means so much to me. God bless!
Sarah, I have been reading your blog this afternoon, and what a blessing your inspirational writing and your obvious commitment to the Lord has been to me.
I will be praying for you as you grieve the loss of your Grandmother and Granddad. May the God of all comfort continue to comfort you as only He can. Even now, you are comforting others with the comfort with which you are being comforted by God. (II Cor. 1:3-5) My beloved husband went to be with the Lord several years ago, and God’s loving comfort and His grace are sufficient.
You are, indeed, a very beautiful young lady, not only external beauty, but also inner beauty which is precious in the sight of God.
Continue in this good work in which you are obviously very gifted . . . you write with insight and wisdom!
